The Walt Disney Company
“Ro” has extensive experience in “live entertainment” and special event spectaculars. These included Walt Disney World’s Super Bowl, Orange Bowl and Citrus Bowl Half-time Shows, Magic Kingdom Candlelight Ceremonies, Grand Openings of Magic Kingdom Attractions, EPCOT Center Pavilions, and the Orlando International Airport Grand Opening.
Her entertainment background and “can do” attitude made her a perfect complement to Max Howard - a new British talent, hired to be the Director of the Disney-MGM Studios Animation Department in Florida. From a start-up division where the dress code included a “hard hat,” to eventually refining the day-to-day administrative support and interfacing with Disney Animation Studios in Burbank and Paris, “Ro” has been Max’s trusted administrative anchor for over 20 years. Projects completed during this tenure included: The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under, The Prince and the Pauper, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and two Roger Rabbit shorts -- Roller Coaster Rabbit and Trail Mix Up, plus the short film Off His Rockers.

Challenged with setting up a brand new feature animation division for the company, Max and “Ro” rolled up their sleeves to move several projects into production. In addition to the Burbank, CA facility, this required the build-out of a 2-D animation studio in London, England with over 140 animation artists to respond to the “green lighting” of numerous full-length animation films. Projects completed during this tenure included: Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan and Bill Murray, Quest for Camelot and The Iron Giant.
DreamWorks SKG
Sometimes life’s experiences prove beneficial when meeting new and interesting challenges. Such was the case when “Ro” joined Max Howard at DreamWorks SKG. Her background as an equestrian was put to use during the project development for Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron. She managed selected show elements, including the responsibility for “Spirit” the live, wild mustang – coordinating his training, transportation, local stabling and breeding program in preparation for publicity junkets to promote the animated film’s release. Projects during this tenure included: Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron, and the development of Sinbad.
Melwood Pictures
“Ro” drew upon her vast experience in the live action and animated film industry to support the efforts of this start-up company. In addition to managing daily business activities, she also served as a line producer on a “live action” television pilot. This required new skill sets, which she easily acquired and adapted to in a limited time, such as location scouting and set-up, arranging talent and crew accommodations, transportation, and hair/make-up. Projects initiated during this tenure included: Spirit Bear, Natural Hazard, Par From Earth and Silverwing.
